A Conveyance Deed is a legal document that transfers the rights, title, interest, and ownership of land and building from the builder/developer to the cooperative housing society. It’s mandated under Section 11 of the Maharashtra Ownership Flats Act (MOFA), 1963. If the builder refuses or delays the transfer, the society can apply for Deemed Conveyance, where the government executes the deed on the builder’s behalf
